Kant's Critique of Pure Reason is a classic in the history of western philosophy. This thesis mainly concentrates on Kant's transcendental imagination, comparing the differences of transcendental imagination which Kant discusses in the two versions' transcendental deduction. In the first transcendental deduction, Kant firmly believes the necessity of the relationship between concept and an experience object in the first place, and this necessity is carried out through comprehension. Then he gradually increases the "of the synthesis of the intuition" to "of the synthesis of the imagination ", and then to "of the synthesis of the conception", from a lower level to a higher level.,which is the basis of the imagination of the triple synthesis Kant comments. But Kant changes his mind in his second transcendental deduce:he involves the issue of the transcendental imagination through the question about bind rise to the objective unity of self-consciousness, then refers to transcendental apperception. In this version, we can obviously see that Kant divides imagination into two parts:what are regenerative imagination and productive imagination. Because of the difference between the two versions' transcendental deduction, a dilemma appeared:what is transcendental imagination:The third comprehensive ability or the productive imagination. Although the problem can not be solved by Kant's transcendental philosophy, it can only be solved by the later philosophy, the author supports the part on the own philosophy of kant which I think we should support. And I had done a thorough demonstration.
