Complement construction in Chinese produces and develops from ancient times to modern times, and plays a very important position in Chinese history。It makes the expression of Chinese more sophisticated, and becomes a major driving force for development of modern Chinese. On the principles of this combination of form and meaning,this paper uses modern linguistics theory and theories of grammaticalization, study's the complement construction of Zu Tang set and the performance of complement Structure .To make the paper target-oriented, the paper study's regulative verb . The paper consists of four chapters:Chapter one introduction: In section one, this paper summarizes previous studies on generation times of resultative verb and the criteria, discusses some important problems. In section two, this paper discusses the reason for selecting the ZuTang set as a research object. ZuTang set records the corpora of two stages . It is especially valuable to preserve some of the southern dialect. To study the tang and five dynasties period of southern dialect also has important significance.Chapter two grammatical form analysis: From the history of Chinese development process, the basic structure of initial resultative form is"Vt+Vi/A(+O)",Namely, QianXiang structure is sttransitive verbs , HouXiang structure is intransitive verb or adjectives. According to whether the predicate with object and the object in the position of filling structure, the resultative is divided into"V+C","V+C+O"and"V+O+C". According to the verbs and adjectives complement, This chapter discusses the combinative-form resultative .Chapter three the semantic analysis: According to its semantic direction, the resultative semantic features are divided into patient complement,agent complement and dynamic complement. That means monosyllabic transitive verb mainly as a predicate verb by patient complement,agent complement structure, and adjective not normally as a predicate verb. In contrast, the adjective of dynamic complement used as the action verb has a higher proportion. Predicate of agent complement structure is mainly monosyllabic intransitive verb, while not appearing the transitive verb.Conclusion: In the last part, this article summarizes the contents of this paper, and discusses complement construction and related issues from grammatical form and semantic features perspectives, which is principled.
