Each writer has his style of narration, which is different from others, such as Yan Geling. She living in China early, and living abroad as a Chinese writer. She tried the style of living conditions of "on the road" in her works, which conferred by pouring in his own unique perception. And she tried different ways to tell some stories. In some unique tests, includes her writing techniques, narrative strategies, language innovation and vision of the world. The increasing new works, arousing the concern and attention of literary critics from overseas and China, besides her works are becoming some objects, which we can study with literary. At the same time, we can use a different perspective to look at the history, through her narrative texts with the survival of the overseas Chinese and the description and history.This paper start from the point of narrative, though reading works and theory of narrative, we can analyze the characteristics of Delineation Narrative Art rounding the "time and space" .So we can gain a deeper understanding and interpreting her work, by analysis the art of the narrative, and exploring literary value of the works; also we can gain a better understanding of the spirit of her work in question. This is not only a harvest of literature studies, but also a harvest from another point of view of our beauty and ugliness of human nature and history of right and wrong good and evil.This paper is divided into three chapters mainly, as following:Ⅰ.The narration in the form of"Time and space". The liner narrative was broken in many works, and she tried different time and space to overlap in the narrative."Time and Space"is a notable feature of her novels. Staggering time and space does not mean that randomness of narrative, but following certain logic under the form of"chaos". From the "Time and Space", this chapter analyze the characteristics of differences with sense of narrative, and"time and space"are implemented in the text.Ⅱ. The"instant"and"eternal". Focusing the narrative image in this chapter and selecting two typical images– braids and cafe, we can gain the deep meaning through the interpretation of the images. And gain the meaning and emotion by these images. analyzing the functions of imagery in the narrative.Ⅲ. Dismantling and rebuilding of the "history" through space-time. This chapter talks about works with political history to relieve and spiritual history to rebuild.
