Aesthetic Mechanism Of Sitcoms

Based on research of Sitcoms realized; using the development process of Chinese Sitcoms as its clue; starting from the noumenon features of Sitcoms; establishing from below different perspectives:basic elements-colorful dialogues and classical characters, narrative structure-defamiliarization of time and public space such as house or workplace, construction of comedy effects-comicality and humor and comic nature; the present paper does concrete analysis on several recent Chinese Sitcoms which evoke strong reactions, and generalizes their common aesthetic features to analyses the reasons of their success from a receiver's perspective. However, though these Sitcoms succeed, remaining problems with Chinese Sitcoms should not be neglected.
