Japanese Art Features During The Meiji Restoration

Although many discussions have been made on artistic features of the Meiji Restorat ion by many experts at home and abroad, they are mainly focused on various categories o f the art history vertically and usually confined to the art history itself in a category. The p aper has made a comparative study on the developments and changes of major categories of art during the Meiji Restoration through art (a sub-discipline) research methods horizo ntally.
