Being well known as a famous writer in Japan, Mishima Yukio not only had interests in but was good at describing the beauty of men's physical qualities. So when we read his works, it is easy for us to find out that Mishima Yukio's literature was centered on males. Most people would rather focus their eyes on the analysis of the male images than the female ones in Mishima Yukio's novels. In fact, the female images in Mishima Yukio's novels had good looks, but they had different individual thoughts which symbolized Mishima Yukio's writing insights at different times and reveal his thought tendencies, life attitudes and his esthetics ideas. So it is very important to study and analyze his female images in a deeper way. This article is divided into four major parts. The first part is the present condition of Mishima Yukio's study, pointing out that most people always pay their attention to the physical beauty of men in his works, and overlook the study of his female images. In the second part, it analyzes the female images and put them under different categories. Some female images are ugly because of men's traditional ideas, some are beautiful because they always try to follow men's steps and some are simple because they are totally ignored by the society. These different categories of the female images show us Mishima Yukio's writing insights and views at different times. The third part is to put the female images of Mishima Yukio's novels under different marriages and conclude that their marriages cause them to have different lives and show different attitudes. These female images express Mishima Yukio's different cultural experiences and attitudes. The forth part is to consider Mishima Yukio's complex childhood, his Japanese traditional culture and western culture experiences. These influenced his writing thoughts. These also explain the reasons of his female images. It combines the environment after the World War Two to clarify the relationship between Mishima Yukio's thought tendencies and his female images, and which tries to explain that the female images in his novels are related to his ideas about emperors.
