The Rediscovery Of Realism

Today the contemporary art of China development, realism still is a potentially subconscious attitude and method of creation, no matter what the contemporary art we can see that how distinctive is, behind it, for artistes of China, almost exits such a consciousness and idea, even it is held as a core sequence of art creation as a basic knowledge. Although, today, "realism" turns into a aphasic word, it is not lost as a realism attitude of spiritual dimension of contemporary art, on the contrary, it becomes a very commendable intellectual impetus of development of contemporary art of China. The article attempts to retrace the history of the history, theory and practice of realism, and reveals the developing logic and value orientation of realism in contemporary art history. Though discussing the border of the realism, seeks to clear some core problems of realistic tendency in contemporary art of China, industriously establishes a positive mode of discourse of realism, and suggests what kind of contemporary art we need and what kind of realism method is more effective.
