Cognitive Apprenticeship is one of Learning Concepts and Instructional Models,it born against the background that the development of Cognitive Science and the rise of Situated Cognition in North America in the sixties and seventies of the 20th century. This theory aimed to make traditional school education better. As soon as it proposed,it received a lot of attention and praise,but it did not get popularized beacause of the limits of school system. While information technology which based computer and network is booming, its advantages are increasingly apparent, it is enter the school, walking into the students,it become an access to knowledge and improve skills and it is an important means to achieve life-long learning. In particular,metaphor of learning situations and the fit of information technology environment reawaking the interest of cognitive apprenticeship in the teaching. So the applying research on instruction based Cognitive Apprenticeship in IT environments is a valuable study.This paper is organized around three major sections and conclusions as follows:1. The first section examines the theoretical and philosophical backgrounds of the cognitive apprenticeship model. It explores the relationship between the traditional apprenticeship and the traditional school teaching. Cognitive apprenticeship is beyond the traditional apprenticeship and traditional school teaching.And this section focuses on the various dimensions and components of cognitive apprenticeship.2. The second section based on Constructivism and Situated Cognition as a theoretical foundation to construct Instructional Models of Cognitive Apprenticeship,then explain its operation procedures. Then deals with the role of technology in supporting and implementing cognitive apprenticeship as a model for designing learning environments.3. The third section uses Sina-UC Education Channel as a case to understand Instructional Models of Cognitive Apprenticeship for better. Then make a a brief description and analysis of its features to online education platform . The conclusion outlines its limits as education platform and the problems we must pay attention in the perspective of Cognitive Apprenticeship, expectating for improving Instructional Models and Online Education.
