Objective: Taking seventeen visitors of depression as subjects, the visitors were divided into both moderate and severe depression based on Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) score. Discuss the effects and efficacy of conditioned emotional response intervention treatment for depression of visitors with different levels.Methods: Seventeen visitors of depression were received treatment respectively .In the process of the experiment, the visitors completed two self-reported questionnaires: one is Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), the other one is report whole day's emotion, these two questionnaires as indicators of changes in the assessment. Use of independent samples nonparametric test rank sum test to deal with the statistics, and give a review of this experiment with the method of one single subject or small N and Multiple-baseline design.Results: After the intervention the score of the HAMD was significantly decreased, effectively alleviate anxiety, there is no significant difference in HAMD score between moderate and severe depression visitors, self-ratings showed significant downward trend.Conclusion: Whether it is moderate depression or severe depression, visitors has the same efficacy after nine times of intervention with conditioned emotional response intervention. Conditioned emotional response intervention has effect on visitors of depression.
