Expericence Summery Of Diagnosis And Treatment Of Posterior Urethral Valves 19 Cases

Objective: investigate the effect of transurethral ureteroscopic holmium laser treatment of posterior urethral valves. Methods: 19 patients (all males) , with posterior urethral valves, age average: 4. 7, clinical manifestation: dysuria, et al. Extent of uroslometry before operation is 1~9ml/L, all of the patients were diagnosed by ureteroscopic and treated by transurethral ureteroscopic holmium laser, there is nearly no bleeding during the operation. The condition of urination is obviously improved. And followed up to evaluate their curative effect. Result: 18 patients were cured for the first time, 1 patient was cured for the second with this method. Extent of uroslometry after operation is 7~18ml/L, in 1 week to 2 years follow up, recheck ultrasound of urinary system: hydrops of upper urinary system is released obviously. Conclusion: Transurethral ureteroscopic is a reliable way to diagnose posterior urethral valves, Transurethral ureteroscopic holmium laser used for treatment of posterior urethral valves is safe, minimally invasive, and highly effective method for the treatment of patient with posterior urethral valves.
