Objective:To determine whether the occurrence of hemifacial spasm is related with posterior fossa volume.Methods: Selected 30 female patients with hemifacial spasm who were treated in our departmentwith and 30 controls.We usd AW4.4 workstation and 3D reconstruction software to measure the posterior fossa volume.Results: By statistical calculations,there is not significantly different between normal subjects and patients with hemifacial spasm(P>0.05).Conclusion: Hemifacial spasm and posterior fossa volume size does not matter...
