Objective: To analyze the risk factors of pancreatic leakage after pancreaticoduodenectomy,so as to discussion how to prevent and treat the pancreatic leakage.Methods: 64 patients who had done pancreaticoduodenectomy by our team at the first hospital of Chongqing medical university from 2000 to 2009 to do retrospective analysis. All patients were used the pancreatic stump Embedding to the jejunum when doing Pancreaticojejunostomy, and indwelling silicone tube in the main pancreatic tube to drainage the pancreatic juice outside the main pancreatic tube. The silicone tube creeped in the jejunum 10-15cm away from the anastomotic stoma and then carried out the vitro.Results: no pancreatic leakage occurred postoperatively, and the patients were recovered well.Conclusions: The pancreatic stump Embedding to the jejunum when doing Pancreaticojejunostomy,and indwelling silicone tube in the main pancreatic tube to drainage the pancreatic juice outside the main pancreatic tube may used to prevent pancreatic leakage after pancreaticoduodenectomy.
