The Clinical Observation Of Combined Therapy Of Yadanziyouru And Docetaxel In Treating Presby Lung Cancer In Intermediate And Advanced Stages

Purpose: Clinical perspective radomn open study on the conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine of non-small-cell lung cancer patients aged 65 above, to observe the effect, side effects and quality of life of combined therapy of ya dan zi you ru and mono-chemo, and provide evidence of reasonable treatment methods. Methods: Divide 50 aged patients into treatment group and control group with 25 in each one and have two course of treatment (45d). Docetaxel chemo-therapy and ya dan zi you ru injection for 15 days was chosed for the treatment group, while only Docetaxel chemo-therapy was used in control group. The baseline index, changes of tumor, KPS score, side effect, symptom score in TCM, CEA, Cyfra21-1 and quality of life. Results: 48 patients finished research among all the 50 patients. The analysis of therapeutic effect showed that there were no statistics difference between effect of local lesion. The combined therapy could enhance the physical capacity and decrease the clinical symptoms, the CEA and Cyfra21-1 level was degraded with statistical difference. The analysis of side effects showed that the combined therapy could decrease the digestive toxic reaction with statistical difference while there was no statistical difference in the bone marrow depression. The analysis of quality of life showed that there was no statistical difference in physical function, role function, emotional function, recognition function, social function and general health. However, the combined therapy could improve the nausea, vomit, ache, breathe difficult and specificness of lung cancer with statistical difference. there was no statistical difference in improving lassitude, insomnia, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea, etc. meanwhile, there was no statistical difference in financial straits, the combined therapy didn't increase the economical burden. Conclusion: The combined therapy could improve the physical fittness, decrease clinical symptoms and increase the effects. It could improve the quality of life by improve the nausea, vomit, ache, breathe difficult and specificness of lung cancer. The combined therapy has certain effects and less side effect, it could improve quality of life and desearve clinical development. The combined therapy of TCM and western medicine could be the main treatment of aged lung cancer, it has a prosperity in future.
