The Study On The External Nose And Face Soft-tissue In The Normal Han Youths Of JiangXi Province

Objective:To measure the external nose and face soft-tissue in the normal Han youths of JiangXi Province,and to provide reference data for clinic.Methods:The external nose of 182 males and 201 females were observed randomly, The nasal and facial linears were measured by anthropometry,and the angles were analyzed by taking photograph. The sex differences were analyzed.Results:17 linears,4 angles and their relations had been obtained. The outline of distance between lateral angle of eyes,intercanthal dist,radix nasi width,distance between superior extremity of nasolabial folds,nasal width,angle oris'dist,nasal depth and dorsum nasi length was 9.80±0.84,3.60±0.33,2.57±0.45,4.94±0.46,1.60±0.30,3.93±0.38,1.95±0.39,3.51±0.65 in male,and 10.18±0.48,3.35±0.35,2.57±0.43,4.94±0.41,1.88±0.32,3.38±0.34,1.70±0.23,3.80±0.44 in female.Outcomes of nasal frontal angle,nasolabial angle,nasorostral angle and nasal facial angle were 122.2±13.9,21.9±5.9,94.9±18.0,99.7±19.2 in male,and 123.4±22.3,23.4±4.6,99.7±15.1,70.7±39.5 in female. The males'nasal root- intercanthal distance index, superior extremity of nasolabial folds'distance-nasal width index,nasal width- angle oris'distance index and dorsum nasi length-lateral angle of eyes'distance index was 0.44±0.08,0.66±0.11,0.80±0.09,0.36±0.05,and the females'was 0.56±0.09,0.77±0.14,0.69±0.08,0.37±0.05.Conclusion:This study got results of the exteral nose and face soft tissue anatomic data,and obtained their relations in youths,the sex differences were significant,and provided normal evaluation for the secondary nasal deformity in the cleft lip and palate patients.
