Objective:To investigate the effect of Ruiji biological membrane in the prevention of adhesion of tendon.Method:Sixty chickens were divided into two groups and underwent complete transaction of the middle digit flexor digitrum profundus tendon in zone two.The tendons were immediately repaired.Simple Kessler suture was applied in the control group.Ruiji biological membrane was used in experimental group. All the tendons were observed with naked and under a light microscope. The biomechanic of tendons were also measured after 2 weeks ,4 weeks and 6 weeks of surgery with the methods of gross observation, adhesion criterion , historical observation ,electron microcope and so on .Result:(1)Gross speciesmen observation showed tendon healing in the expreimental group was better than that of the control group.The observations show the significant difference between the experimental groups and the controls(p<0.05). (2) Historical observations show the significant difference between the experimental groups and the controls.(3) Electron microcope observation The two sections were observed under electron microcope to study the ultra-structure of fibroblasts and collagen fibers in the process of tendon healing.Conclusion:It suggests Ruiji biological membrane can prevent and reduce the adhesion between tendons.
