BackgroundMumps is a kind of vaccine preventable disease, but the situation of mumps immunity to crows is uneven.Although epidemic of mumps had been controlled commendable by mumps vaccine, but the mumps outbreaks happened frequently in local region recent years.It is necessary to look into characteristics and regularity of this disease with the MMR fitted into EPI, In order to supply beneficial experience to the mumps and evaluation immunity effect.ObjectiveAnalysis epidemiology characteristics of mumps and evaluate the immune effect of mumps vaccine.MethodsQuestionnaires are collected by home according to multistage cluster sampling, survey and analyses the situation of incidence and diagnostic and report and immunization of the mumps by the people<15 years old at Antu country Jilin province in 2008.ResultsIn this search,21545 residents by 7530 home investigation were performed.including 2317 children under 15 years old which include 268 mumps in 1994~2008, the incidence rate of mumps is 11.74%,there is 140 attacked in 2008.It is include 4 cases mumps attacked mumps before 2008.In the 140 cases,123 cases went to medical institution for the mumps include 11 cases reported to the national China information system for disease control by country medical institution.there is 1440 children vaccinated by mumps vaccine,the rate is 62.15%.The rate of 1-dose recipients of mumps vaccine is<80%,1-dose is 2.29%.The vaccine efficacity is the most after vaccinated 0~3 years.Conclusions Cause high attack of the mumps in Antu 2008 could be one is control of infection sources failed that caused by poor residents and fail to declare in medical establishment, the other one is The crowding of susceptible hosts that caused by the rate<80% of 1st MV vaccinated and the low vaccinated rate of 2nd MV.
