Abstract:Objective:By determinated the content of peripheral blood osteopontin of patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma, investigate the occur, development and Prognosis and clinical significance of it. Methods:The level of peripheral blood OPN was detected in 61 patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma,41 normal people (control group) by ELISA method. To analysis the relation between the two things with Statistics way. Results:The level of peripheral blood OPN was 529.34±192.45μg/l in squamous cell carcinoma group,291.80±138.11μg/l in control group, and it had significant difference (P<0.05). The level of peripheral blood OPN in oral squamous cell carcinoma patients was correlated with clinical stage, but had no correlation with the sex, age, size of tumour and degrees of differentiation.Conclusions:The detection of peripheral blood OPN of patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma has greatly clinical significance in patients'treatment, diagnosis, prognosis evaluation and monitoring.
