Objective:To establish the model of metabolic syndrome by SD rats with the character of hypertension, disorder of glucose metabolic and lipid metabolism, obesity simultaneously. To detect concentration of IL-6 in the fat tissue of all the models. To investigate the correlation between the concentration of IL-6 and the risk factors of the cardiovascular disease and MS in FSC and FC groups, just like insulin, fasting blood glucose(FBG), uric acid(UA), HOMA-IR, cholesterol(TC), high-density lipoprotein(HDL), low density lipoprotein(LDL), triglyceride(TG), the weight of the rats and the weight of the fat tissue, and discuss the degree of the correlation.Methods:40 weaned rats, including 20 males and 20 females, divided into 3 groups randomly. Three different diet were given to the three different groups, one is the normal diet for a group with 12 rats(6 males and 6 females); one is high fat diet for a group with 14 rats (7 males and 7males); the other is high fat and salt diet for a group with 14 rats(7 males and 7 females). Fasting blood glucose and insulin were measured after 4 weeks feeding, then measure the glucose and insulin again at the 60 min,120 min, 180 min after having the sugar. The weight, length, waist circumference(WC), blood pressure(BP) were measured, and the lipid profile like UA, HDL,LDL, TG, TC were detected at the same time. Then weighting the liver and the fat tissue which come from the perinephritfat. To find out whether these indexs in the different groups have statistical significance, After that, the concentration of the IL-6 in the fat tissue were measured by ELISA, calculate if there is statistical significance between the three groups. To investigate the correlation between the concentration of IL-6 and the associate factors, just like HDL, LDL, FIN, TC, TG, UA, FBG, HOMA-IR, the weight of the fat tissue and the body. Finally, calculate the degree of the correlation.Results:1. The abdominal circumference, weight, systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP), the concentration of the TG, TC, LDL, the glucose and insulin concentration in OGTT and insulin-releasing test in the FSC group were all higher than that in the NC group, but the HDL was lower; they have statistical significance(P<0.05); the color of the liver become shadow.2. The BMI, TG, TC, LDL,60min glucose in FC group were higher than these in NC group (P<0.05); the blood pressure, insulin, WC, HDL don't have statistical significance between the FC group and the NC group.3. The concentration of the IL-6 in the fat tissue from the FSC group, FC group were higher than that of the NC group (P<0.05). The level of IL-6 in FSC group was higher than that in FC group (P<0.05).4. The concentration of the IL-6 was significantly correlated with LDL, FIN, HOMA-IR, TC, TG, HDL, the weight of the fat tissue and body in the FSC group;IL-6 in the FC group was significantly correlated with TC, HDL, TG, W, the weight of fat tissueConclusion:1. The rats could have metabolic syndrome after 4 weeks induce by the high fat and salt diet. But only showed obesity, disturbance of lipid metabolism and increase of the 60min glucose after 4 weeks induce by high fat diet.2. The concentration of the IL-6 in the FSC and FC group increased obviously, which means IL-6 participate in the disturbance of lipid metabolism and obesity.; the concentration between the FSC group and FC group also have statistical significance show that IL-6 participate in the MS process also through the other ways besides obesity and the lipid disturbance.3. The level of IL-6 in the FC group was correlated with TC,LDL,TG,W and the weight of the fat tissue, further indicated that IL-6 participate in the development of obesity and disorder of lipid metabolic. IL-6 could be an index in prediction the early pathological process of the cardiovascular disease.
