Objective:To investigate the treatment efficacy and side effects of FOLFOX4 and XELOX as neoadjuvant chemotherapy in locally advanced gastric cancer..Methods:68 cases diagnosed with locally advanced gastric cancer were randomly divided into two groups,34 cases of patients in each group. Using the chemotherapy treatment of XELOX and FOLFOX4 before the operations for two courses of treatment. Results:The total effective rate in Group XELOX is 47.06%, The total effective rate in Group FOLFOX4 is 44.11%. In the negative response, the incidence of neutropenia and Oral mucositis is higher in group FOLFOX4. The incidence of hand-foot syndrome is higher in group XELOX.Conclusion:The program XELOX as neoadjuvant chemotherapy in gastric cancer is similar to the progra FOLFOX4 in the efficacy. The program XELOX can be controlled and has less side effects, its chemotherapy time is short and its damage to the body is easy to accept. Therefore, we should research and extend it in the clinical work futher.
