Purpose: With the further deepening of China's medical system and medical services market opening, the hospital will be in a more complex economic, social, political, technological, legal, and ethical environment. The original experience of the hospital management can not meet the current environment of rapid change. This paper will take a cancer hospital of Xinjiang as a case, and raises a number of Enlightenment brought on the basis of vertical integration in its empirical analysis of strategic business and the success of experience induction. And provide some reference to Cancer Hospital to help it to carry out vertical integration strategy. Methods: 1. Using inductive method of the relevant literature of Xinjiang Tumor Hospital's external environment and summing it up, there will provide a theoretical basis for the research.2. Analyzing a Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang's competitive competition in the market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats by SWOT analysis.3.A questionnaire survey: the main purpose is to making a questionnaire survey for the "Xinjiang Line of caring for women's health ",with the objects of the people of roving medical consultations health knowledge-cum-missionary activities ,and 58 representatives of the participants of the 19th session of the National Cancer Hospital Management Symposium.4. Composite index evaluation method: the main meaning is to evaluate the indicators of hospital treatment in Xinjiang Tumor Hospital from the year of 2007 to the year of 2009 .Results: 1. There is an increasing trend on service objects, an increased spending power of clients, and a expanding level on service areas in a cancer specialist Hospital.2. A cancer specialist hospitals in Xinjiang has a significant advantage in the specialty brands and types of cancer subjects , medical level, the number of cancer specialists and other professionals , but in terms of cost control, technology, construction of key disciplines tumor, it is at a disadvantage with the lack of effective incentive mechanism and risk-resistance capability .3. Producing good results of implementation of the hospital business on the base of vertical integration strategy.4. With the process of the implementation of the strategy of vertical integration in a Xinjiang Tumor Hospital , there is a serious shortage of senior professional and technical personnel, and an undesirable obstacles of teaching and research resources underutilized, unsatisfactory control of cost .Conclusion: the vertical integration strategy can make the Tumor Hospital in Xinjiang in a stronger competitive position in the industry, and enable the hospital to give full play to its advantages and avoid disadvantages, seizing the opportunity of the expanding of the tumor growing health care market, and achieve the sound sustainable development of hospitals . Meanwhile, it will provide a reference value and reference to the similar development in other hospitals .
