[Objiective] The aim of this study was to using echocardiography observe the dyssynchrony of inter- or intra-ventricular of the patients with broad QRS.Meanwhile,to observe the accuracyof QRS≥120ms as the main criteria for determining eligibility for heart dyssynchrony .[Methods] Seventy patient were divided into two groups according to the wideth of the QRS. Group A QRS≥120ms,<150ms, group B QRS≥50ms . Inter-ventricular mechanical delay (IVMD) was measured as the difference in onset of Doppler-flow in the pulmonary and aortic outflow tracts≥40ms.Intra-ventricular dyssynchrony was expressed by Tissue Doppler with a predefined time difference in systolic maximal velocities of lateral-septum(LSD)≥60ms.The value of p < 0.05 was statistically considered significant.[Results] It appear that inter- and intraventricular dyssynchrony are both common in patient of two group.42.9% patient with prolonged QRS don't express cardiac dyssynchrony.40% patient IVMD≥40ms,at the same time LSD≥60ms.There is no obvious different on IVMD ,LSD, LVEF,LVEDD and LVSDD in two group. There is linear correlation between QRS duration and LVEDD,LVSDD.(r=0.45,P <0.05).[Conclusions]1.Dyssynchrony are common in patient with prolonged QRS,but about 42.9% these people don't express dyssynchrony.About 40% inter-ventricular dyssynchrony patient are in intra-ventricular dyssynchrony. 2. There is linear correlation between QRS duration and LVEDD,LVSDD.
