Objective:To investigate the levels of UM-Alb, U02-MG and NAG-U in patients with liver cirrhosis and explore their diagnosis values of early renal injury in patients with cirrhosis. Methods:One hundred and twenty-seven patients with cirrhosis were selected, which were divided into non-HRS group (10leases) and HRS (26 cases) group according to diagnostic criteria. And the non-HRS group were divided into A, B, C three groups according to Child-Pugh criteria. Thirty five cases were selected as normal control group. Speed scattering ratio and endpoint method were applied to detecting urine UM-ALB, Uβ2-MG. NAG-U. Results:1) Urinary levels of UM-Alb, Uβ2-MG and NAG-U were significantly higher in cirrhosis group than in control group (P<0.05).2) Urinary levels of UM-Alb, Uβ2-MG and NAG-U in Child A group were significantly different than in Child C group (P<0.05).3) Urinary levels of UM-Alb in HRS group were significantly higher than in non-HRS group (P<0.05), and urinary levels of Uβ2-MG and NAG-U in HRS group were not significantly different than in non-HRS group.4) The abnormal levels of UM-Alb, Uβ2-MG and NAG-U in liver cirrhosis with renal injury occurred more early than the levels of serum creatinine. Conclusion:UM-Alb, Uβ2-MG and NAG-U are sensitive and useful markers for the diagnosis of early glomerular and tublar lesions in patients with cirrhosis, which could reflect the degree of hepatic function damage and regarded as sensitive markers for HRS. Therefore, Urinary levels of UM-Alb, Uβ2-MG and NAG-U may be potential markers for detection of early impaired renal function in patients with liver cirrhosis.
