Clinical Analysis Of Ten Cases Of Tracheobronchial Stent Insertion For Treatment Of Tracheal Narrow

Objective:To investigate the short-term effect of tracheobronchial stent insertion in relieving several causes(tracheal carcinoma,mediastinal lymphoma,tracheal tuberculosis,esophageal cancer,thyroid adenoma,tracheotomy)of tracheal narrow. Methods : All patients (4 tracheal carcinoma,2 mediastinal lymphoma,1 tracheal tuberculosis,1 esophageal cancer,1 thyroid adenoma,1 tracheotomy)were treated by tracheobronchial stent insertion with the guidance of DSA. Then the changes of polypnea symptom, PaO2 and PaCO2 of the patients before and after the operation were observed. Results:The procedures of tracheobronchial stent insertion were successfully performed on the 10 patients. The dyspneic symptom was relieved immediately and the conditions of PaO2, PaCO2 ,SaO2 were improved significantly,without the complications of airway perforate,stent shifting and ablate in the near future. Conclusion:The tracheobronchial stent insertion is a safe and effective treatment for tracheal narrow . It can improve considerably the short - term living quality of the patients.
