The early identification and intervention of vulnerable plaques is important for the prevention to the acute cardiovascular events. With the continuous development of ultrasonic imaging technologies, ultrasound has been able to identify the high-risk and unstable plaques according to the characteristics of plaques, which provides more valuable clinical information. This article summarized the ultrasonic technologies applied to assess the stability of the plaques. Objective:To investigate the application of ultrasound in the diagnosis of thyroid cancer. Methods:Summmarise the ultrasonographic manifestations of 20 cases which were all pathologically confirmed papillary thyroid carcinoma..Results:In this 20-case group of papillary thyroid carcinoma, the diameter of the largest tumor was 8cm and which of the smallest one was 0.7cm. 17 cases showed low-echo.2 cases showed mixed echo.1 case showed higher echo.14 cases showed single nodules.6 cases showed multinodules, and one of them was nodular goiter associated with papillary carcinoma.15 cases had fuzzy or less neat boundary.15 casses had micro-calcification. 5 cases complicated with cervical lymph node metastasis. Conclusion:Papillary thyroid carcinoma have a typical ultrasonographic features and the points of diagnosis are low-echo,fuzzy boundary and micro-calcification,and the combination with CDFI will Contribute to the clinical diagnosis of the disease.
