| Esophageal and cardia cancer is common clinically malignant tumor.Surgical resection is the main treatment and operation objectives of thoracic. After surgery the gastric function of patients would have been affected, nearly all the patients were with gastric emptying obstacles. Clinically as anorexia, full abdomen, gas return acid, nausea, shortness of breathing after activity and so on a series of syndrome which influence patient's postoperative recovery and life quality. We usually ameliorate the postoperative more with gastrointestinal drug such as intramuscularty, PanLi, PuRuiBo etc. but the efficacy and long-term effects are not very reliable. Chinese medicine is our precious wealth, it emphasizes treating the human body as a whole. It should be in the surgery treatment process exert the effect. Therefore we could do exploratory research in TCM treatment of stomach dyskinesia to obtain a better method, then we could improve the quality of survival and promote postoperative recovery of patients.Objective: Esophageal, gastric cardia cancer resection for esophageal postoperative gastric emptying obstacle is a kind of common postoperative complications. This experiment would provide an effective treatment method through clinical trials to observe the effects of postoperative residual stomach function.Methods: This experiment select 60 cases of Hebei people's hospital thoracic esophageal cardia cancer surgery patients with gastric emptying, including male 37 cases, Female 23 cases, Aged 35-70, Average age 58. There are esophageal 34 cases and cardia cancer 26 cases included. Patients were randomly divided into two groups, Chinese traditional medicine group including 30 cases, male 19 cases, Female 11 cases, Average age 58.2, 18 cases of esophageal cancer, 12 cases of cardia cancer; Western medicine group including 30 cases, male 18 cases, Female 12 cases, Average age 57.8, 16 cases of esophageal cancer, 14 cases of cardia cancer. In addition 10 patients without gastrointestinal tract disease were selected. It including male 6cases, Female 4 cases, Average age 56.4, The patients were observed in clinical symptoms improved after using medicine (Improved ,significantly ,invalidity). Before and after treatment we observe MOT and GAS changes. Application shows XSZ before and after treatment were gastric emptying. And at the same time record the general situation of the body. (Blood, urine and defecate function, the changes of weight)Statistical methods: All measurement data shows by the mean of±SD said, Comparison between the two groups by T, Many groups with F inspection comparison. Counting material USES a chi-square test, Grade counting material using rank and inspection, Data mining applying Microsoft excel software, Statistical analysis with Spss software.Results:1 Results of symptoms improve1.1 Both traditional chinese medicine and western medicine therapy could improve general symptoms, Before treatment Chinese traditional medicine group overall symptom scores: 9.03±0.98,After treatment:3.87±1.50. compare with Before and after(~*P =0.000,~*P<0.01),Significant statistical significance. Wstern medicine treatment group total symptom scores before: 8.97±0.91,after treatment:4.90±1.66. compare with Before and after(~*P =0.000,~*P<0.01),Significant statistical significance. Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine is compared two groups(~▲P=0.0335, ~▲P<0.05).1.2 Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment of two groups before and after the treatment of each single symptom wrer improved. Through western medicine or after treatment each individual clinical symptoms were obviously decreased (~*P<0.01). Compared with TCM and western medicine: Medicine in the reatment of early enough excels medicine group(~△P<0.05); Other symptoms between therapeutic shows non-significance difference.1.3 overall efficacy between Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in two groups: Chinese traditional medicine group: Effective for 5 cases, powerfully for 9 cases(30%), better for 12 cases(40%), invalid for 4 cases, The total effective rate: 86.7℅. Western medicine group: Effective for 3(10%) cases, powerfully for 7 (23.3%)cases, better for 13 (43.3%)cases, invalid for 7 (13.3%)cases, the total effective rate: 76.7%. Compare with before and after treatment of Chinese traditional medicine group: ~*P =0.0410,~*P <0.05, TCM can improve human MOT. Compare with before and after treatment of Western medicine group, ~*P =0.3359,~*P <0.05,explain that Domperidone can improve patient′s MOT. Compare before and after treatment of Chinese traditional medicine group with Western medicine group:~◇P >0.05,No significant differences between two groups.3.2 GAS: The two groups before treatment group compared with healthy volunteers: ~☆P =0.000,~☆P <0.01,. explain that After surgery patient′s GAS than normal gastric move increased significantly. Compare with before and after treatment of Chinese traditional medicine group: ~*P =0.031, ~*P <0.05, Compare with before and after treatment of Western medicine group,P =0.885,P﹥0.05, Compared with western medicine group:~◆P =0.012,~◆P <0.05, TCM is better then Western medicine In improving GAS.4 Adverse reactionsPatient is in good condition after Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment shows that life is stable. Two Patients appear diarrhea and two Patients appear nausea after taking TCM, three Patients appear Headache, diarrhea, dry mouth After taking domperidone.Conclusion: 1 Compare with TCM and western medicine treatment, we see that TCM treatment is better then Domperidone.2 Through detection XSZ gastric emptying, we can see TCM treatment Significant increase gastric emptying, Thus effectively relieve patients symptoms. 3Through detection of Gastrointestinal hormones secretion, we can see TCM promote gastric power provides the basis. 4 To sum up, TCM may improve patient symptoms, Promote gastric emptying, It can promote gastrointestinal with traditional mechanism of hormone has close relationship.
