Aim To evaluate The Effect of Complex Treatment for Old Children and Juvenile Serious Anisometropia Amblyopia. Method Fifty-six Old Children and Juvenile with serious anisometropia amblyopia, divided into two groups. Group A (30 patients) wore RCP lenses and group B patients wore eyeglass frames and all received same amblyopia therapy with a patch, visual stimulation therapy, antisuppression therapy.Anisometropia amblyopia Old Children and Juvenile were added by binocularity therapy and stereopsis therapy while their corrected acuity≧4.7.The course is 2-3 ages and the effects of the treatment methods then be compared. Results 1,The effective rate of both groups with serious anisometropia amblyopia are 100%.2,After 24 months, group A had cure rate of 33.33%, while group B only had cure rate of 7.69%.The cure rate differed significantly between two groups. Antisuppress rate of group A is 36.67%, antisuppress rate of group B is 3.84%, The cure rate differed significantly between two groups. The rate of group A which had stereo vision acuity≦100" is 30%, the rate of group B is 3.84%.3,The graph of Corrected acuity of different ages is different with age growth afer 24 months of amblyopia therapy.4,No conditions such as corneal abrasion or conjunctival congestion occurred,and there were none of the problems that occur with spectacle lenses treatment Conclusion 1,Complex treatment for old children and juvenile serious anisometropia amblyopia. is effective way. Most of children would be possible to being cured. They shouldn't give up.2,RGP is a safe and effective way to cure old children and juvenile serious anisometropia amblyopia and has better and longtime therapeutic effect than eyeglass frames.3,Complex treatment should conclude refractive correction occlusion therapy, visual stimulation therapy, antisuppression therapy.
