Objective:To approach the method insulin resistance of polycystic ovary syndrome andcombine the dimethylbiguanide with Chinese crude drug to interfere in that insulin resistance of polycystic ovary syndrome in clinical research.Process:The topic is composed by the research of theory and clinic.Theoretical research: Selecting and analyzing classic and modern literature to expound the etiopathogenesis and current situation of the therapeutics of PCOS.Clinical research:56 patients which were consistent with our study standard had been given the OGTT and IRT.The levels in serum of glucose and insulin determined were recorded. The level in serum of gonadal hormone of Patients also were memorized simultaneously.To observe the associativity between HOMA-IR and Cederholm.60 PCOS insulin resistance patients which have the deficiency of vital energy and phlegmatic hygrosis symptom were divided into two groups:group A(30 cases)treated with dimethylbiguanide;group B(30 cases) treated with dimethylbiguanide and the prescription of invigorate vital energy and dissipate phlegm(IVDP) for three months. The levels in serum of glucose and insulin were assayed.Meanwhile, to compare the condition of menstruation, waist-to-hip ratio(WHR),acne and pregnancy before treatment and after.Result:HOMA-IR and Cederholm have conspicuous dependablity(P<0.01).The results showed that T,LH levels were significantly higher and SHBG was lower in IR patients(P<0.05).The overall efficiency is 92.86% in groupB and the same is 84.62% in groupA, there is significant difference(P<0.05).Menstruation was modified betterly in groupB rather than in group A.However,the symptoms which contain acne and WHR in two groups have no disparation after course of treatment(P>0.05), although both groups captured the excellent effectiveness. Conclusion:Cederholm should be replaced by HOMA-IR as clinical index of IR appraisal.To be more direct-viewing,the levels of insulin in serum of 60min,120min also should be assayed, to prevent missed diagnosis. The overall efficiency of groupB was better than groupA.IVDP could also relieve the adverse reaction of dimethylbiguanide, increase the pregnancy rate.Through this investigation we consider that the peak amplitude of insulin in serum delayed to be also symptom of IR.
