Objective By detection idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) patients in the percentage of reticulated platelets (RP%) and mean platelet volume (MPV), observed MPV and RP% in ITP patients of different degrees of changes in blood situation, then of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) patients with RP% and mean platelet volume (MPV) of clinical value. Methods peripheral blood flow cytometry ITP patients of RP% value; automated complete blood cell count detected by the average small volume of blood (MPV). Results 1,ITP patients in the compared with the normal group RP% and MPV:P =0.000, two values were significantly higher, with statistical significance (P<0.05)..2,Clinical bleeding in patients with relatively, RP% moderate and severe group compared with P=0.000, moderate group and mild group:P=0.014; MPV severe group and the moderate group:P=0.000, moderate group and the light degree group MPV:P=0.000, significant difference between the two.3,MPV or RP% of ITP patients compared with the correlation, P=0.027, correlation coefficient P=0.404, positive correlation. Conclusions ITP patients with more severe bleeding, RP%, MPV increased significantly more, so ITP patients with the increase of MPV was positively correlated with the RP%, that RP%, MPV may predict clinical bleeding as an indicator of severity for ITP patients.
