Expression Of Gap Junction Connexin43 And Connexin40 In The Patients Of Sudden Cardic Death

Objective:To explore the relationship of sudden cardic death with connexin43 and connexin40 by observing their expression in the left,right ventricle and interventricular septem between the patients in sudden cardic death and the cases in control ones.Methods:Immunohistochemiscal and Simple PCI image analytic techniques were used to contrast the distribution of connexin43 and connexin40.Moreover,all expression data from left,right and interventricular septem was compared each other by JMTJFX.Result:In the control group, CX43 and CX40 were mainly distributed in intercalated disk, and little was found in the lateral junction and cytoplasm. And in the case of SCD group, expression of CX43 and CX40 were mostly dispersed in the lateral junction and cytoplasm, and less expression of them was observed in intercalated disk. Compared with the controls, patients in SCD group had a statistically lower CX43 expression in the left, right ventricle and interventricular septem (left ventricle, tarea=8.01, P<0.05; right ventricle, tarea=5.05, P<0.05; interventricular septem, tarea=3.27, P<0.05; left ventricle, tgreylevel=2.15, P<0.05; right ventricle, tgreylevel=2.32, P<0.05; interventricular septem, tgreylevel=2.09, P<0.05). Compared with the controls, patients in SCD group had a statistically lower CX40 expression in the left, right ventricle and interventricular septem (left ventricle, tarea=3.62, P<0.05; right ventricle, tarea=8.52, P<0.05; interventricular septem, tarea=9.40, P<0.05; left ventricle, tgreylevel=3.24, P<0.05; right ventricle, tgreylevel=8.53, P<0.05; interventricular septem, tgreylevel=4.51, P<0.05)Conclusion Changes in the distribution and quantity of CX43 and CX40 in the heart may be related to the sudden cardic death to some extent.
