Objective:The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide (rhBNP) on the expression of inflammatory factors TNF-a and IL-10 during cardiopulmonary bypass.Methods:30 patients scheduled for selective cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) for open-heart surgery were randomly divided into rhBNP group and control group,15 cases in each group.0.5mg rhBNP was added to prime solution of the patients in rhBNP group. Gather blood specimen at such times as after anesthetized (T1),when the CPB stop (T2),2h after CPB (T3),6h after CPB (T4),12h after CPB (T5),24h after CPB (T6).Blood samples were centrifuged promptly and the supernatant was stored at-20℃.The serum levels of TNF-αand IL-10 were determined by ELISA within three months.Results:1.Two groups of T2,T3,T4, T5 various time select TNF-α,IL-10 are obviously higher than T1(p<0.05).2.There were no significant differences at levels of TNF-αand IL-10 between rhBNP and control group at T1 and T6.The serum levels of TNF-a in rhBNP group is lower than that in control group at T2,T3,T4 and T5. And the serum levels of IL-10 in rhBNP group was higher than that in control group at T2,T3,T4 and T5.Conclusions:This study showed that rhBNP could decrease the expression of TNF-a and incresase expression of IL-10 which caused by cardiopulmonary bypass.
