The Study On The Project Of Health Workers Training In Western China

Objective:Collecting the data of the project by the standard evaluation index system, to evaluate the result of the project with qualitive and quantitative indications and make advices for further enhancing training of the health workers in Western China.Methods:Making questionnaires by the evaluation index system of Health Human Resources Development Centre, Ministry of Health and collecting the datas.Surveying all the 11 Health Departments of the 11 western provinces and 341 Sending units,356 Receiving units,341 Health workers by 1/2 randoming sampling. The datas include the invests,the Process,the result,which are health resources,money invest,the electing ways,the receiving process,trainning process,management,the ways of examinations and certificate issued,the scores,the gains of the trainees,the satisfaction and willing in detail. Establish the databases in Epidata3.0, descripting and analysising the datas in Excel 2003 and SPSS16.0.Results:The most trainees are recommended by the Sending Units. More than 80% trainees receving the training including theoretical knowledges for 1-3 monthes and practice for more than 6 monthes. More than 70% trainees receving half-practice for 3-6 monthes. More than 90% Receving Units hold the final examination, more than 70% trainees gain the certificate. The trainees are mainly arraged in the original department after training.2.The results of the First-examination,the Middle-examination,the Final-examination are better and better, the constitute rations of good and excellent in the Final-examination are 61.6%,19.1%. 3. The project gives much help to the trainees. The constitute rations of good in grasping the key technology and the new knoledges are 86.8%,72.7%. After training,83.6% trainees improve the basic knowledge and 77.2% trainees improve therapeutic levels. The outpatient,inpatient,surgery increase slightly, the increasings have no significant difference (P>0.05).4.The satisfaction to the overall project of the Heath Depart-ments is the highest(100.0%), the trainees is the lowest(84.7%). The satisfaction to the money,policy,process,result of the Health Department and the Sending units are all more than 85.0%, the difference has no significant meaning. The satisfaction to the tutors of the trainees are highest, to the arranging money is the lowest, to the arraging time is lower than the Receving units.5. The Province Health Department,Sengding units,Receving units,the trainees are all will to join the projiect which the willings are all more than 90.0%.6.The result of the Optimal Scaling shows that:the factors affect the First-examination are provinces,willing,major, the factors affect the Middle-examination are provinces,willing,the contents of training,the contents of theoretical knowl-edge,teaching materials,the time of practice, the factors affect the Final-examination are provinces,qualification,the contents of training,the contents and the time of theoretical knowledge,teaching materials, the factors affect the gain of the trainees are:sex,provinces,certifecate title of the trainees and the tutors,the contents of training,the contents and the time of theoretical knowledge,the time of practice,teaching materials, the factors affect the satisfaction of the trainees are provinces,the ways of chosing,willing,the contents of training,the contents and the time of theoretical knowledge,the time of practice,teaching materials,giving certificate,the investing money,the character of the Receving units.Conclusions:1.The training model includ is theoretical knowledge,half-practice,practice, most Receving units holds the Final-exa-mination,which is good.The trainees bring some profits for the Sending units after training.2. The satisfaction to the overall project of the Province Health Departmens is the highest, the following are the Sending units and the Receving units,the lowest is the trainees which are not satisfy with the the invest money and arranging time.3. The Province Health Department,Sengding units,Receving units,the Health workers are all will to join the projiect.4. The factors affecting the results of the project are provinces,willing,qualification title of the workers,the contents of training,teaching materials,the contents and the schedule of theoretical knowl-edge and the schedule of practice.
