Objective To investigate the expression of Paxillin,Carbonic anhydraseⅨ(CAⅨ) in primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC),and to explore the relationships of themselves and the correlation between them and the clinicopathological characteristics of PHCMethods The specimens from 50 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC),15 corresponding peritumoral hepatic tissues and 10 normal liver tissues from liver trauma patients who received operarions were fixed in 10% formalin and routinely embedded in paraffin. The specimens were continuously sliced into 3μm sections. The expressions of Paxillin,CAⅨwere detected by immunohistochemistry SP method and scored under high-power microscopy.Result These was significantly statistical difference between the tumor tissues and the peritumoral tissues, the normal hepatic tissues in the expressive positive rate and the expressive scores of Paxillin,Carbonic anhydraseⅨ.(P<0.05)The tumor tissues with poorly differentiated, intrahepatic metastasis and tumor thrombosis have significantly higher expressive positive rate and expressive scores of Paxillin than others which were well-differentiated and without metastasis and tumor thrombosis(P<0.05).But no relationship between with Paxillin and other main clinicopathological of PHC(P>0.05).The expressive positive rate and expressive scores of CAⅨis higher in the tumor tissue with tumor thrombosis and diameter of tumor≥10cm.And there is no relationship between with CAⅨand other main clinicopathological of PHC(P>0.05).There is no evident correlation between the expressive scores of Paxillin and CAⅨin tumor tissue of PHC.(r=0.09 P>0.05)Conclusion1. The expression of Paxillin palys an important role in the invasive and metastatic part of PHC. and it may be an forecast indicator of PHC.2. The expression of CAⅨis related to the invasive and metastatic part of PHC.3. There is no correlation between the expression score of Paxillin and CAⅨin tumor tissue of PHC.
