Objective:To figure out the contribution of renal capsule block to gastric electrophysiology and its regulation law, and use the renal capsule block to treat the gastrointestinal motility disorders.Methods:1. Fifty-four male, Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups. Each group was divided into 3 subgroups, six rats per subgroup. Group A was non-model group, group B was the inhibition model produced by intraperitoneal injection of atropine, group C was the hyperactivity model produced by intraperitoneal injection of neostigmine. Group A1,B1,C1 were sham operated group, which exposed the kidney and renal capsule, group A2,B2,C2 were the renal capsule injected with normal saline, group A3,B3,C3 were the renal capsule injected with lidocaine;2. Gained EGG of these rats, did FFT and spectrum analysis, and observed the change of the average cycle and average peak to peak after renal capsule block.Results:1. Compared with that of group A1, the average cycle and average peak to peak of group B1 decreased(p<0.05), and the average cycle and average peak to peak of group C1 increased(p<0.05);2. There were no significant difference of the average cycle and the average peak to peak between group A2 and group A1(p>0.05), but compared with group A1, the average cycle and average peak to peak of group A3 increased(p<0.05);3. Compared with that of group A2, the average cycle and average peak to peak of group B2 decreased (p<0.05), and the average cycle and average peak to peak of group C2 increased(p<0.05);4. There were no significant difference of the average cycle and the average peak to peak between group B2 and group B1(p>0.05), but compared with group B1, the average cycle and average peak to peak of group B3 increased(p<0.05); compared with group B2, the average cycle and average peak to peak of group B3 increased (p<0.05);5. There were no significant difference of the average cycle and the average peak to peak between group C2 and group Cl(p>0.05), but compared with group Cl, the average cycle and average peak to peak of group C3 decreased (p<0.05); compared with group C2, the average cycle and average peak to peak of group C3 decreased (p<0.05).Conclusion:1. In hyperactive gastrointestinal motility rats, gastric average cycle and average peak to peak will decrease under renal capsular block;2. In suppressive gastrointestinal motility rats, gastric average cycle and average peak to peak will increase under renal capsular block.
