Analysis Of Differential Expressed Protein From Ovarian Cancer Serum

Objective to search the differential expressed proteins from ovarian cancer serum for diagnosis of ovarian cancer .Methods WCX kit (Bruker Daltonics GmBH) and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry technology were used to detect serum samples from 49 patients with ovarian cancer ,40 patients with benign ovarian tumor and 40 healthy women for screening differential expressed protein peaks for funding some new biomarkers of ovarian cancer.Results In the mass range from 1 000 to 12 000Da,eight differential expressed protein peaks were screened .Among them , four protein peaks with Mr 1457,1857,2202,7761 were down-regulated and the others with Mr2946,5333,5859,5901 were up-regulated . Among the eight differential expressed protein peaks we found four protein peaks may accord with four protein in Pro-database with MASCOT. There were no protein in the database accordant with the other protein peaks temporarily .Conclusion there are differential expressed protein between ovarian cancer and healthy human。These protein may be new biomarker of ovarian cancer and may boost diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
