microspheres are a delivery system with polymer materials as drug carriers, the drug dissolves or dissipates in the polymer matrix material to form small spherical entities, which can protect the drug or control drug release. The microspheres belong to ground-substance skeleton material microparticle. Microspheres for drug delivery research began in the 20th century, the mid-70s, developed rapidly. After drug microencapsulated, there are the targete to some organs and tissues, and there are the role of sustained-release drug delivery, so microspheres have become, sustained and controlled release dosage form of the hot research in recent years.Roxithromycin is the semi-synthetic 14-membered ring macrolide antibiotics.In this paper, Roxithromycin-ethylcellulose microspheres were prepared by microencapsulation technology. Roxithromycin-ethylcellulose microspheres not only to cover up the bitter taste of roxithromycin, in vitro release at the same time to prove the microspheres have the sustained-release effect. After screening a prescription, made Roxithromycin-ethylcellulose microspheres tablets, and evaluated the quality of the microsphere tablets.There were four chapters in this thesis.Chapter one:An overview of the microspheres, including the historical development of the microspheres,coating materials, preparation methods and so on.Chapter two:Study the impact of microsphere formation of various factors, and through the orthogonal test to optimize the best prescription preparation, Ultimately selected the best prescription process, and produced a desired microspheres of Roxithromycin-ethylcellulose microspheres.Chapter three:Evaluated the quality of Roxithromycin-ethylcellulose microsphereres, including particle size, encapsulation efficiency, drug loading, in vitro release, the effect of cover the bitter taste and speeded up the experiment.Chapter four:Made Roxithromycin-ethylcellulose microspheres tablets, and evaluated the quality of the microsphere tablets.
