Therapy Reaction Of Corticoid Combined With Lamivudine In Nephritis Patients With Hepatitis B Virus Infection

Objective: To observe the replication of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and therapeutic effect of nephritis in the patients with HBV infection who were treated with corticoid combined with lamivudine.Methods: Thirty-one nephritis patients with HBV infection were divided into treatment group, and forty-two nephritis patients without HBV infection were divided into control group. The treatment group was treated with prednisone combined with lamivudine, and the control group was given prednisone. The liver and renal function, blood routine, urine routine, quantitation of proteinuria were measured in two groups of patients regularly in the course of treatment. Quantitation of HBVDNA and HBV variant were measured in treatment group.Results: 16 patients achieved complete remission, 8 patients achieved partial remission, and 7 patients failed in the treatment group. The total effective rate of treatment group was 77.42%.23 patients achieved complete remission, 10 patients achieved partial remission, and 9 patients failed in the control group. The total effective rate of control group was 78.57%. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).The level of liver function was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). In the treatment group, fifteen patients were HBVDNA negative, and HBVDNA was constantly negative in the course of treatment. Sixteen patients were HBVDNA positive, HBVDNA turned to negative in five patients, HBVDNA decreased in nine patients, HBVDNA fluctuated in two patients because of viral mutation.Conclusion:It is safe and effective to treat nephritis patients with HBV infection by corticoid with lamivudine.
