Objective:To analyze the etiology of in-patients with Hypertension from Grade AAA hospital, and investigate the distribution of its in different genders, nationalities and ages. Methods:Retrospective study was performed based on etiology and the distribution of its in different genders, nationalities and ages of corroborant cases of in-patients with hypertension from The First Hospital affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University, accounted for 10011. Results:(1) Of 10011 in-patients with hypertension, there were 86.8% of essential hypertension(EH) and 13.2% of secondary hypertension(SH), the highest prevalence of renal hypertension(RH) (40.6%) and the higher prevalence of endocrine hypertension (21.2%),OSAHS(20.8%),anxiety(14.3%) in secretory hypertension; the prevalence of renal parenchymal hypertension(RPH) (31.1%) and renovascular hypertension (RVH) (9.5%) was found in SH, in endocrine hypertension, the prevalence of primary aldosteronism(PA)(the highest 10.5%), pheochromocytoma(4.4%), Cushing's syndrome(4.4%)was found in SH. (2) Etiology are differences among the different gender, nationalities and ages. (3) Main etiological factor of RVH atherosclerosis. Conclusion:(1) Main etiological factor of patient with hypertension was EH. (2) Detection rate of SH is on the rise, Main etiological factor of SH was RPH, next to OSAHS, anxiety, PA, Other factors accounted for the proportion to be small; Detection rate of PAwas on the rise. (2) Etiology are differences among the different genders, nationalities and ages. (3) Main etiological factor of RVH was atherosclerosis.
