Objective:To analyse the difference of serum 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 between Weiwuer and Han, and to investigate the relationship between 1,25 (OH) 2D3 and other factors in two ethnic group patients. Methods:Choose180 cases of Essential Hypertension patients (Weiwuer 50, Han 130), electrochemi cailuminescence method was used for the detection of serum 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 l,and the electrolytes, fasting blood glucose (FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose, blood lipid were also detected by Immunochemistry Luminescence, the circadianrhythm of blood pressure was monitored by 24-hourambulator y blood pressure.Results:(1)1,25-dihydroxyvitaminD3 level of the patientswithWeiwuerwas13.68±7.19ng/ml, but 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 level of the Han group was 15.63±5.24 ng/ml, There was a significant difference in serum 1,25 (OH) 2D3 level between Weiwuer and Han group (P<0.05). (2) The distribution of the serum 1, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 levels in the circadian rhythm of blood pressure between two ethnic group patients. Higher percentage of the 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 levelsin no-dipper group than dipper group whether insufficiency (15.0 to 29.0ng/mL) 1, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 levels and deficiency (<15.0 ng/mL)levels. (3) There were significant positive correlation between serum 1,25 (OH)2D3 level and Calcium (r =0.108; P=0.043),High density lipoprotein (HDL) (r=0.359; P=0.011) in Weiwuer group. And there was a significant negative correlation between erum 1,25(OH)2D3 level and fasting blood glucose (FBG) (r=-0.172; P= 0.041) in Han group. Conclusion: 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 deficiency and insufficiency are frequent in Hypertension patients, and thel,25 (OH) 2D3 level is different between different nationalities. Low levels of 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3 may affect the hypertension. We needmore Large prospective randomized study confirm these observations.
