Hypertension is a global disease. The USA united the normal blood pressure (120-129/80-84mmHg) and normal value (130-139/85-89mmHg), propose the concept" prehypertension" in 2003. People amend "guide to prevention and treatment of hypertension in china" and proposed "normal value" (130~139/85-89mmHg) concept. After repeated demonstration of concept with early stage of blood pressure, people revised the guidelines for hypertension prevention and treatment in China, the "normal value" definition of systolic blood pressure of 120~139 mmHg and (or) diastolic blood pressure of 80~89mmHg, which is equivalent to the U.S. JNC-7's "prehypertension." Recently, studies have shown that: with elevated blood pressure, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications are also increased. The pathogenesis of hypertension is very complicated, and the cause is still unclear, many researchers believe that genetic factors are likely to be an important cause of high blood pressure. In recent years, research has showed that there are different degrees of endothelial dysfunction in the early stage of hypertension and atherosclerosis has not yet appeared. Thus, genetic factors may lead to changes in endothelial function which lead to high blood pressure. NO and vWF are sensitive markers of vascular endothelial cell damage and endothelial dysfunctions, and those accuracy and repeatability have been confirmed. The experiment comparise the differences in endothelial function changes of patients between the positive family history of hypertension in patients with high normal blood pressure (positive family history group) and the negative family history of hypertension in patients with high normal blood pressure (control group). The experiment analyse the family history of hypertension on vascular endothelial funtion experiment in patients with high normal blood pressure through blood pressure, biochemical parameters and the level of vWF and NO.The result showed that: 1. compared with control group, the levels of blood pressure, Body Mass Index(BMI), fasting plasma glucose(FPG), total cholesterol(TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), low--density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), triglyceride(TG), uric acid and creatinine are different in the positive family history group, but there were no significant differences(p>0.05) 2.Compared with control group, the level of plasma vWF was significantly higher (p <0.05) and NO was significantly lower (p<0.05) in the positive family history group, which had a significant difference. The research shows that those patients with high normal blood pressure in the positive family history group have more significant vascular endothelial damage than those patients with high normal blood pressure in the negative family history group, which suggests that these patients with high normal blood pressure have a higher risk of cardiovascular events. Recommend that regular monitoring blood pressure, assessing the risk factors and complication of target organ damage, and improving active lifestyle including smoking cessation, weight reduction, sodium restriction, increased physical activity and control of various risk factors were implemented for those patients. These patients with multiple risk factors were considered drug therapy and patients with diabetes or target organ damage were recommended drug treatment immediately.
