Objective: To explore the perioperative management measures of valve replacement for the rheumatic heart disease patients with cerebral embolism.Methods: All of the literatures related to our topic were firstly collected. Then these literatures were carefully read and sorted, and a conclusion was drawn.Results: The valve replacement is highly risk for the patients who were afflicted with rheumatic heart disease complicated with cerebral embolism. But the satisfactory therapeutic effects can still be achieved after proper perioperative management being performed.Conclusion: During the whole perioperative period, we should bear in mind that how to take effective treatments to prevent cerebral re-embolism and enhance cerebral protection. In that the ideal therapeutic effect can be reached that improves the life quality and survival rate of the patients in the long-term.
