Therapeutic Effect Research Of Yanshuai Mixture On Changes Of Testiculus, Learing And Memory Capacity In Aging Mice Induced By D-Galactose

OBJECTIVE:To study the changes of testiculus ,learning and memory capacity in subacute aging mice induced by D-galactose and observe the therapeutic effect of yanshuai mixture on it.METHODS:The male Kunming mice were selected to build aging mice model by D-galactose. Then Kunming mice were divided randomly into six groups; Aging model group, YSM low-dosage group, YSM middle-dosage group, YSM high-dosage group and Bushenyishou Capsules group,at the same time Normal controls group was established. The changes of learning and memory capacity were detected by Morris water maze,morphology of testiculus was observed by light microscope and electron microscopy, serum testosterone was measured by ELISA after treatment with yanshuai mixture in mice. RESULTS:Compare with normal controls groups, Learning and memory capacity of aging model group were weaked, testicles weight was decreased,the spermatogenic cells was reduced, structure was disordered and dysfunction and the serum testosterone content was significantly decreased. The effect of yanshuai mixture hight-dosage group were obviously better than that of yanshuai mixture low-dosage group,but no significant difference was found compared with Bushenyishou Capsules group and yanshuai mixture middle-dosage group in learning and memory capacity (P>0.05).CONCLUSIONS:yanshuai mixture can enhance the learning and memory capacity, improve the Morphological structure of seminifemus tubule and inhibit the decreasing of serum testosterone of aging mice,result in the delay of aging in mice.
