Clinical Study About Probiotics In The Prevention Of Hirschsprung's Enterocolitis After Surgery

Objective To assess the role of probiotics in the prevention of hirschsprung's enterocolitis after surgery.Methods Surgical treatment of hirschsprung hospitalized patients(80) were assigned to experimental group(41) or contorl group(39).Patients according to routine treatment,but probiotics are preventively applicating in experimental group patients which 3 months after surgery. 6 months after surgery, observed the incidence of enterocolitis and severity.Results 41 children patients with Hirschsprung's disease after surgery in the medicine group were followed up, 2 week after surgery,2 case occurred solution yellow paste stool 3-7 times/day,stool test:wbc 1-2+,pus ball 1-2+. Laboratory check:White cells there, especially in obvious neutrophilic. 6 patients in the control group occurred within one month after surgery,one week after surgery,3children have stool 3-8times/day. Sometimes even more than ten days and most of them, mucus is to be like part of water. stool test:wbc 2+,pus ball1+. Laboratory check:White cells, neutrophils higher. 2 cases of moderate enteritis,1 case is 8 months male children. 10 days after surgery,the children appear to fever, abdominal distension, diarrhea, yellow mucus stool solution 6-8 times/day. stool test:wbc3+,pus ball 2+. Laboratory check:WBC:15.6x109/L,N%:80%.The another is 5years old femal children, after a week appear to fever, abdominal pain, bloating, mucus in stool solution up to 5-8 times / day, tool test:wbc3+,pus ball 1+. Laboratory check:WBC:15.4x109/L,N%:81.5%.The x-ray of two cases moderate enteritis intestined that the bowel were paralyzed.Patients of experimental group had mild enteritis 2 case, A serious enteritis for two for the cure of the operation, repeated serious diarrhea, T:38-40 temperature monitors, fast and dehydrationthe, diarrhea ten times daily, spirit languish, severe dehydration and shock fair, The x-ray product inspection shows that the air, and a liquid, the paralysis performance . Laboratory check:blood prompted white cells and infection increased performance. stool test:wbc3+,pus ball 2-3+. incidence rate of experimental group is 4.8%,the control group of 39 patients had 6 cases of enteritis, the incidence rate of 15.3%. Statistically significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Avoiding risk factors of Hirschsprung's enterocolitis, preventive application of probiotics can reduce the incidence of Hirschsprung's enterocolitis after surgery.
