Effect And Clinical Significance Of Atorvastatin On Plasma Adiponectin In Patients With Coronary Heart Disease

Objective:Atorvastatin is a totally new synthesis of 3-hydroxy-3- methylglutaryl coenzyme A(HMG-CoA)reductase inhibitors, and is one of the most effective lipid-lowering statin drugs currently. By stabilizing atherosclerotic plaque,adjusting lipidemia,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and other measures of combating the formation of atherosclerosis,statin drugs can prevent coronary heart disease and reduce the occurrence of adverse events. Coronary heart disease among the crowd poses a serious threat to human health,is a very high incidence of cardiovascular disease.In recent years, plasma adiponectin and the relationship with coronary heart disease at home and abroad have been widespread concern in the literature. Adiponectin is a protein secreteing by the fat cells which found in recent years,has the function such as anti-atherosclerosis,anti-inflammatory and anti-intimal hyperplasia after injury,increasing fatty acid oxidation,inhibiting hepatic glucose output and glucose recycling,improving insulin resistance,the protection of vascular endothelial cells.And its plasma concentration and the level of cardiovascular disease,type 2 diabetes and obesity have a certain relevance.In this study,patients with coronary artery disease by detecting plasma adiponectin levels,adiponectin further explore the clinical significance of coronary heart disease.The research observes the effect of loading dose atorvastatin intervention on plasma adiponectin in patients with coronary heart disease and provides a new test for clinical basis.Methods:Selected 60 patients with coronary heart disease,38 males and 22 females,aged 38 to 74 years old,mean age(52.4±8.7)years old.All selected patients had been diagnosed with coronary heart disease by coronary angiography (According to internationally accepted method for evaluation of coronary artery diameter stenosis,who were≥50% stenosis as CHD ).And there had 30 people of healthy congroup(C group).In the next morning,all the 60 CHD patients were drawing venous blood 2mL fasting.And all the 30 people of healthy congroup were drawing venous blood 2mL in the morning fasting.The blood is stored plasma specimens from centrifuged.The CHD patients were randomly divided into the loading dose atorvastatin group (atorvastatin 80 mg,n=30,A group) and the group without using atorvastatin (B group).In the next afternoon,30 patients of A group with conventional therapy ate atorvastatin 80 mg at 20:00 and 30 cases of B group only give conventional therapy.In the third morning,all the CHD patients were drawing venous blood 2mL at 6:00 fasting. The levels of plasma APN were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and the date were treated with statistical analysis.Results:1 Compared with the CHD control group, the plasma adiponectin concentrations were significantly increased by taking 80mg atorvastatin after 10 hours,the difference was statistically significant (6.72±1.94 vs 6.54±2.02,P<0.05).2 Compared with before treatment,the plasma adiponectin concentrations were significantly increased by taking 80mg atorvastatin after 10 hours,the difference was statistically significant (6.72±1.84 vs 6.48±2.53,P<0.05).3 Compared with the CHD group,the plasma adiponectin concentrations of healthy congroup were significantly increased,the difference was statistically significant(6.48±2.53 vs 11.52±3.21;6.50±2.32 vs 11.52±3.21,P<0.01).Conclusion:1 The plasma adiponectin levels in patients with coronary heart disease were significantly lower than control group.2 Loading dose atorvastatin can increase adiponectin levels in patients with coronary heart disease,which may be one mechanism of anti-atherosclerosis.
