ObjectiveBased on the theory of "You Gu Wu Yun" from "Huangdi Neijing" which is the "bible" for traditional Chinese medicine. Putting the modern scientific research on "You Gu Wu Yun" and "medicine can treat disease cause its toxicity " as the key scientific problem of Chinese medicines toxic appreciation, we proposed that Chinese medicine educe treat effect when they have toxic character. Experimental toxicity studies with safflower as the starting point, with harmacokinetics, high performance liquid chromatography and other modern scientific methods to explore the relationship between drug toxicity and efficacy selective expression and the body's functional state on the theoretical and empirical. Then to confirm that "syndrome pattern"is the decisive factors of selective expression of traditional Chinese medicine toxicity and efficacy. And to further explore the Chinese medicines toxic appreciation.MethodsPregnant mice were divided into 4 groups:control group, blood stasis model group, safflower group and the safflower group, trauma with blood stasis animal model of pregnant mice with a self-made splint in his right leg pressure at the 8-hour mark; with saffron Decoction of saffron group of normal, respectively, to pregnant rats and pregnant rats fed blood stasis in treatment group, control group and model group was given an equal volume of saline. The performance of pregnant rats on the stasis model of treatment for the bleeding, pregnancy, toxicity is not obvious:the pregnant rats to reduce foot swelling, decreased fibrinogen, red blood cell accumulation rate. The fetus during pregnancy and had no significant effect on the indicators. HPLC Results:Red Group in the uterus HSYA A was higher than muscle tissue HSYA A content; the uterus of pregnant mice treated HSYA A content of less than Muscle tissue HSYA A concentrations are that the toxicity and efficacy of saffron in the body in different functional role of the state with specific selectivity.
