Of the 136 patients with open globe injures , there were 58 patients(59 eyes) injuried at work.93.1% were men, and the average age was 30 years( 18–54 years ). They were difference in sex (93.1%vs85.9%,P=0.034 ) and no difference in age (P=0.05).2. The most common mechanism of injury was Intraocular foreign bodies (IFOB) trauma , 26 patients ( 44.8%) examined had IOFB. Some goods caused open globe traumas including irons, stone woods, other medicals and unknowned things. In the observed groups and contrasted groups They were 34(58.6%)vs 20 (25.6%),12(20.7%)vs15(19.2%),1(1.7%)vs6(7.7%),2(3.4%)vs3(3.8%),4(6.9%)vs2 (2.6%),5(8.6%) vs32(41.0%);3. According to BETT ,The number of Blunt injuries,Penetating injuries, and IFOB were 17(29.3%)vs19(37.2%), 15(25.9%)vs29(37.2%),26(44.8%)vs20(25.6%) in the two groups ,which was different(P=0.034). The time it took patients to present to the emergency room after an ocular trauma was no difference(P=0.34).4.
