Objective:This study attempts to select and analysis the pain stage and the collapsed distribution about the avascular necrosis of femoral head through collecting the such case information in large sample. Statistical analyzing the data in order to find out whether any correlation exist between Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation of femoral head necrosis stage and pain intensity or the collapse size.Method:1. Collect the data about the patients who diagnosed as femoral head necrosis and plan to replace the total hip joint during Sep 2010 to Apr 2011 from the patient apartment of The No.1 hospital affiliated to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Sort the patients'data according to the pain intensity and the scale of femoral head collapsed size, build a database to manage the information.2. divide the case into 2 part:A. muscle and vessel stagnation and blood stasis type, B. deficiency of liver and kidney type, Chi-square test or t test the sorted information. results:1. the pain intensity of A type patients is significantly compared with the B type(P<0.01).2. No remarkable difference between different syndrome of femoral head necrosis and the collapsed size of femoral head(P>0.05).3.femoral head necrosis pain intensity and scale of the collapsed size show no marked difference(P>0.05). 4. There is no significant difference in pain intensity of femoral head necrosis and ARCO stage(P>0.05).Results:1. Knee osteoarthritis pain in patients with blood stasis type relative yang deficiency Cold Coagulation-type symptoms, kidney deficiency type even more significant (P<0.01); Yang deficiency cold coagulation-type swelling symptoms in patients relative blood stasis type, kidney deficiency type more significant (P<0.01).2. Knee osteoarthritis patients, in arthroscopic synovial hyperplasia seen in yang deficiency cold coagulation type than blood stasis type, kidney deficiency type even more significant (P <0.01); kidney deficiency type Bone spur proliferation than blood stasis type, yang deficiency cold coagulation type more significant (P<0.01); cartilage damage, meniscal degeneration, articular loose body syndrome was no significant difference (P> 0.05).3. Arthroscopy combined treatment of TCM Differential Treatment of Chinese medicine is more than just significant. Conclusion:1. Show association between pain intensity of femoral head necrosis and Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation.2. different syndrome of femoral head necrosis is no significantly compared with the size of collapsed.3. There is no remarkable difference between pain intensity of femoral head necrosis and collapsed size.4. No marked difference in pain intensity of femoral head necrosis and ARCO stage.
