The Clinical Research Of Acupuncture Manipulation With Jin's Prescription Treated Alzheime's Disease

Alzheimer's disease, a common, but life-threatening disease to the elderly. It brings a lot of trouble to patients and the people around. The patients cannot take care of themselves in their daily life such as dressing, eating, bathing and excretion. Some of them suffer from deafness, phonism, hallucination, even only remain in bed and thus they cannot survive when they are in danger. In this study, hence, the patients can hopefully be treated by following Chinese medical way."Jin's three needle points with reinforcing and reducing methods of Traditional Acupuncture" (it will be named:"cure group" as below)is a combination treatment of clinical application to the Alzheimer's disease. At the same time, "acupuncture only without any additional control" will be named:"common group" as following. It is simple and direct, with high curative effect and great economic value.To treat the Alzheimer's disease, in the first part of the study, there are numerous ways of Chinese medical treatments other than collecting the information of the cause of Alzheimer's disease, and the general western medicine treats. They include Chinese medicine, acupuncture, naprapathy, moxibustion, safty of living environment, prevention method and so on. As for the second part,60 patients were chosen as the targets of this study. Those were aged over 65 male and 55 female patients fulfilling the observation conditions and they had been separated into two different groups:one is using "cure group";and the other is to use as "common group". The qualified patients were allocated to correspondence groups according to specific sequence from the figure (referring to appendix 1.3) which aims to analyze the data randomly with JMTJFX, a simple statistics analysis. As a result of the study, the cure group is obviously high curative effect than the common group. It is because the patients were becoming better health and fettle after treatments. Therefore, it is worth and sustainable to keep researching, developing and promoting such "Jin's three needle points with reinforcing and reducing methods of Traditional Acupuncture" even though there is still no way to completely cure the Alzheimer's disease.
