Clinical Observation On Yingxin Decoction In Treatment Of Acute Viral Myocarditis (AVMC)

ObjectiveThis thesis aims to observe the curative effect of Yingxin Decoction, which can invigorate the kidney and the spleen, clear away heat and toxic material;further explore the pathogenesis of AVMC, prominently reflect the effect of Yingxin Decoction on AVMC, and provide a cost-efficient therapy with good compliance and efficient Chinese native medicine preparation.MethodThis thesis made excerpts from the medical literature in the last decade, which include AVMC's popular trend,cause of this illness, pathogenesis and treatment of modern medicine, as well as the etiology, pathogenesis, dialectical understanding and treatment of the traditional Chinese medicine. All the 60 cases (24 males and 36 females) were AVMC patients hospitalized in Shenzhen Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from January 2009 to December 2010. Among these patients, the eldest one is 41 and the youngest one is 17. These patients were randomly divided into 2 groups:treatment group and control group.In treatment group (using Yingxin Decoction and Western medicine which used in control group):30 patients included 13 males and 17 females, and the average age was 55.24±5.63; In control group (using virazole, energy mixture and fructose):30 patients included 11 males and 19 females. and the average age was 30.16±5.86;Yingxin Decoction is granule-free fried Chinese medicine provided by the pharmacy in our hospital, one set a day, at the same time, using intravenous drip drugs and oral medicine which also used in control group. The patients in control group took a drip with 5% GS 500ml which infused with Vit C 3.0, ATP 40mg, Inosine 0.6, VitB6 100mg and Co-A 100u, and another 5% GS 500ml which infused with fructose 12.5g and virazole 0.5 in the first 10 days. Then continue to take the same medicines (except Co-A) orally in the 20 days left. All the patients were treated for 30 days.ResultsAfter treatment, the indices of these two groups on cards cardiac enzymes, troponin, NO, SOD, CRP, hepatic and renal function, electrolyte, BRT, URT, SRT, electrocardiogram, color Doppler ultrasonography, X-ray, symptoms and signs were better obviously than prior treatment, the efficiency of treatment group is 96.7%, and that in control group is 80.0%,they showed significant differences by statistical analysis (t test)(P<0.05), so it was better in treatment group than control group.ConclusionThis thesis discussed the pathogenesis of AVMC, we considered it as spleen and kidney-qi deficiency, and the invasion of evil influence. Yingxin Decoction can not only take a favourable turn on clinical symptoms, signs, cards cardiac enzymes, troponin, hepatic and renal function, electrolyte, electrocardiogram, color Doppler ultrasonography, X-ray, but also improve the levels of important activated factors such as NO, SOD and CRP in vessel.It has respectable effects on virussafe and myocardial nutrition. The clinical curative effect of Yingxin Decoction is prominent, there is no side effect, so it is worthy to be popularized.
