Radiotherapy, surgery and drug therapy are the three major ways for treatment of cancer, and more than 70% of cancer patients received radiotherapy during treatment. Moreover,3D-Treatment Planning System is the implementation steps of precise radiotherapy Essential key.As the complexity of practical problems and other reasons, IMRT is far from the advantages of playing in the clinical application of comprehensive. There are still many problems to be solved and need to be studied. This paper studies the three-dimensional treatment planning system dose calculation, in particular, based on the simplex optimization algorithm in IMRT and optimization.This paper describes the interaction between radiation and matter, the basic concepts of IMRT, the type of intensity modulated radiation therapy, and then describes various algorithms, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of various algorithms. And finally, introduce the Shoot wild intensity distribution optimization based on the Simplex algorithm in detail.Optimization of radiation field intensity distribution and the simulated cases were detected, and have achieved good results.
