Objective:To investigate the expressions of VEGF, KAI-1, c-kit in nonspecial invasive ductal breast carcinoma tissues, its adjacent tissues and triple-negative breast cancer and to explore the expressions and clinicopathologic significance of VEGF, KAI-1, c-kit in triple-negative breast cancer.. Methods:VEGF, KAI-1, c-kit were detected by PV-9000 immunohistochemical technique in 30 cases of breast carcinoma and its adjacent tissues,85 cases of triple-negative breast cancer. The data was analyzed combining with clinicolpathological characters using nonparametric test, Pearson X2 test. Results:(1)The positive rate of VEGF was 50.00% in breast carcinoma's adjacent tissues,70.00% in breast carcinoma,76.47% in triple-negative breast cancer., which was significantly different. (2)The positive rate of KAI-1 was 86.67% in breast carcinoma's adjacent tissues,46.67% in breast carcinoma,42.35% in triple-negative breast cancer., which was significantly different. (3)The positive rate of c-kit was 63. 33% in breast carcinoma's adjacent tissues,53.33% in breast carcinoma,44.70% in triple-negative breast cancer., which was not significantly different.(4)The positive rate of VEGF was 76.47% (65/85) in triple-negative breast cancer.. The expression of VEGF was associated with size (P<0.05). (5) The positive rate of KAI-1 in TNBC was 42.35%(36/85). The expression of KAI-1 was associated with size and metastasis of axillary lymph nodes and clinical stage (P<0.05). (6) The positive rate of c-kit in TNBC was 44.70%(38/85). The expression of c-kit was associated with size and metastasis of axillary lymph nodes and clinical stage (P<0.05).(7)It was not founded correlation between the expression of VEGF, KAI-1, c-kit in triple-negative breast cancer. (P> 0.05). Conclusion:The positive expression of VEGF, the negative expression of KAI-1, the negative expression of c-kit may contribute to the growth of triple-negative breast cancer. KAI-1 and c-kit may play important roles in triple-negative breast cancer lymph nodes metastasis and might serve as a marker to predictor metastasis.
